I was raised from Arden Hills, Minnesota. I then graduated from Mounds View High School where I took an interest in soccer and coding. During the spring of 2021, I graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Engineering, and a Minor in Computer Science.
After a year stint living in Des Moines, Iowa, I moved back to Minneapolis Minnesota - accepting a role at Seagate Technologies. Here I can often be found taking long walks around Bde Maka Ska / Lake of the Isles region, Kayaking in those aforementioned bodies of water, Hanging with my Monday night soccer team, Or attending chess league on Tuesdays. Since returning, I have also seen a rise in social activities with fellow colleges, and college peers. I am happy to be back.
Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers or IEEE is a world renowned program that helps build engineers that are ready to face the world's challenges.
For the 2020/2021 academic year I was elected as President of the North Dakota State University student chapter of IEEE. During my time as president: I worked to bring in guest speakers via zoom, coordinate events during the COVID pandemic, and build a community of engineering professionals.
Environmental Sustainability Club
I am also a member of the Environmental Sustainability Club (ESC). Our key goals have been to raise awareness about the various products that can be recycled around our community. The club as a whole is also active on campus with volunteering and working with the student hall government for student events and awareness.
Indoor Soccer
I have always loved soccer. While I was a student at NDSU in addition to intramurals, I partook in a weekly group of peers who played at the Wallman Wellness center. This allowed me to stay in shape and meet new friends. Now that I have moved back to Minnesota I hope to find another league like this.
